Panmei visited the Zonal Education Office Tamenglong a few days ago. He inspected government run schools, namely Model Village Government High school, Gadailong Government Upper Primary School, Christian Model English Junior High School and Tamenglong Government Higher Secondary School.

The MLA also interacted with the students and school staff and found multiple setbacks in the schools. Some of the schools lack even basic amenities to be called a school, he told reporters.
