A 23-year-old person, who had been missing since September 22, was found dead near Boljol and Vajing village situated 7 km north of Churachandpur police station around 2 pm Thursday.

According to sources, Khupminsang Kipgen, 23, son of Thinmang Kipgen from ST Chulouphai Village in Churachandpur district had been missing since 9 am of September 22. His decomposed body was found between Boljol and Vajing, it added.
The cause of death cannot be ascertained, it mentioned. The Churachandpur police has filed a case regarding the incident and the body was received by the bereaved family after post mortem was conducted at RIMS, it added.
