Minister Th Satyabrata extends Human Rights Day wishes

The Manipur Employment minister urged the public to uphold the basic human rights while carrying out the duties and responsibilities.

Manipur Employment Minister Th Satyabrata Singh has extended wishes to the people of Manipur on the occasion of Human Rights Day 2021, themed ‘Equality, Reducing inequalities, advancing human rights’, which falls on Friday.

In his message on Thursday, Th Satyabrata stated that the Human Rights Day is observed every year on December 10, the day which the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, in 1948.

"The declaration sets out a broad range of fundamental rights and freedoms to which we are entitled, regardless of our nationality, residence, gender, religion, language, national or ethical origin, or any other status," he added.
