Minister S Ranjan Singh convenes CMOs meeting

The national campaign on TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, the Chief Minister’s Haksel For All, CMHA, and present status of blindness in the state and others were minutely discussed during the CMOs meeting.

Health and IPR minister Dr S Ranjan Singh on Thursday convened a joint chief medical officers’ meeting, at Lamphel in the presence of all chief medical officers of Manipur except for the chief medical officer of Jiribam district.

Additional chief secretary, Manipur V Vumlunmang; director, Health Services Manipur Shasheekumar Mangang; director, National Health Mission, NHM, Manipur Somorjit Ningombam shared the dais along with the Health minister. Officials of the Health department were also present at the meeting.

During the meeting, the national campaign on TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, the Chief Minister’s Haksel For All, CMHA, and present status of blindness in the state and others were minutely discussed.

Speaking during the occasion, minister Ranjan said that coordination among the officials and staff of the department is necessary.

He said that the sincere service of the officials in the department is also highly necessary. He further urged the officials to shoulder their responsibilities for a better health care system in the state. (DIPR)
