Mini Secretariat building, oxygen plant inaugurated in Churachandpur

CM Biren gifted three oxygen concentration machines for Churachandpur district and two for Pherzawl district.

Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh on Wednesday inaugurated the Mini Secretariat (administration block) Churachandpur located at Tuibong and also the much needed oxygen plant inside district hospital Churachandpur which will supply 40 cylinders of oxygen per day.

The two inaugurations were made by the chief minister in the presence of Tribal Affairs Minister Vungzagin Valte; chairman of MANIREDA and MTDC Ginsuanhau Zou; advisor to CM (health) Dr Sapam Ranjan; Saikot assembly constituency MLA TN Haokip; Churachandpur assembly constituency MLA V Hangkhanlian; Manipur DGP LM Khaute; principal secretary Vunglunmang Vualnam and top officials of Churachandpur and Pherzawl district led by their respective DCs and SPs.

The new Mini Secretariat which has four blocks will be used as a new office space for the deputy commissioner of Churachandpur and other departments in the district. The Mini Secretariat is ready for occupation in a campus located at Tedim road and is expected to be a boon to the people for its easy accessibility.

The oxygen plant, which is the first in the hill districts of Manipur will boost the supply of oxygen in the district.
