A mini gallery cum multipurpose hall constructed by the locals of Wangjing Hodamba Maning Leikai, Thoubal district along with the Pioneer Club was inaugurated at the premises of the club on Sunday.

The inauguration event was attended by Tentha Zilla Parishad nominee Khangembam Priyojit, Wangjing Gram Panchayat pradhan Tekcham (O) Surmila and other prominent figures. Pioneer Club secretary Naorem Iboyaima said that the mini gallery cum multipurpose hall with a capacity of more than 300 people was constructed using the club’s fund along with donations from the locals.

At the event one national awardee, Tekcham Rameshor commended the club for the initiative, stating that the mini gallery will be beneficial to the economy of the region. As part of the occasion, the club presented ‘Lengyan Phi’ (a traditional stole) to the people who extended support to the club.
