The Manipur Human Rights Commission (MHRC) on Wednesday registered a suo-motu case against the recent bomb attack on media firm Poknapham/People’s Chronicle.

MHRC has taken into account that the illegal acts have violated certain basic human rights of the people in the state. The act should be considered to be an act of terrorism and the state government must take up immediate action to trace and find out the culprits and punish them according to law.
