MHRC condoles death of former member

MHRC prayed for the repose of his soul and also remembered late RK Rajendra’s valuable contribution to the development and strengthening of MHRC, the Manipur Human Rights Commission stated.

Manipur Human Rights Commission (MHRC) on Wednesday extended its condolences on the sudden demise of Lt Col (Retd) RK Rajendra who was a former member of the commission.

In a release, chairperson MHRC Justice UB Saha, and MHRC member Kangjam Khagendra Singh on behalf of its officers and staff expressed their sincere condolences to the departed soul and the bereaved family. 

MHRC prayed for the repose of his soul and also remembered late RK Rajendra’s valuable contribution to the development and strengthening of MHRC, it stated.

The demise of such a great leader is indeed a great loss not only to the Meitei society but also to the entire Manipur society, it added.
