Youth & Students Development Organisation (1979 Matric Batch of Kakching High School) on Thursday felicitated meritorious students of Kakching Higher Secondary School who topped in the Commerce stream at the HSE Examination conducted by COHSEM as well as those who excelled in the HSLC Examination conducted by BOSEM.

The students namely Naorem Aiena Devi from Kakching Ningthou Leikai, Shougaijam Albish Singh from Kakching Wairi Kamala Pareng, Mayanglambam Julia Devi from Kakching Makha Leikai and Nongmaithem Lorison Singh from Kakching Chumnang were feted with cash prizes during the event held at the school premises, stated a release.

School Principal, Naorem Nomita Devi, teaching staff, Organisation president, Ksh Dharmadas, vice president, N Ajit, secretary, P Indrakumar, treasurer, Sh Nimai and other members were present at the programme, it added.
