Kha Manipur College Kakching Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) organised a felicitation programme for students of the college who secured position in the 6th Semester BA, BSc and BCom honours examination conducted by Manipur University in May 2022.
The event was held at the college’s multipurpose hall. An induction ceremony of freshers of the college was also held on the occasion.
Principal of Kha Manipur College, Yumnam Sunitibala, former principal, N Sanaton and president of the college’s alumni association, Ksh Shyamkeshwar were among those who took part in the event.
During the programme, the ‘Kha Manipur college Alumni award’ was presented to Naorem Gaitri, who secured first position in Manipuri subject and Leisemba Meetei Leimapokpam, who bagged first position in Chemistry subject.
Other awards, including ‘Kshetrimayum Sanatombi memorial award’, ‘Mayanglambam Ibohal memorial award’, ‘Pukhrambam Gouro memorial award’, ‘Naorem Gandhar memorial award’, ‘Naorem Wakhang memorial award’ and ‘Mayanglambam Subadani memorial award’ were also handed over to other meritorious students during the event.
As many as 26 position holders of hospitality and food processing and engineering course, a vocational course opened in the college were also given awards on the occasion. The awards contain a cash prize and a citation.
