Shija Academy of Health Sciences, Langol, Imphal organised an award ceremony on Saturday, felicitating the meritorious MBBS students of the Institute.
The Shija Management Team led by Dr Palin Khundongbam and Director of the Institute, Dr M Amuba Singh along with learned faculty members presented the awards to altogether 19 MBBS students, stated a release on Monday.
The students were feted with various prizes, mementos, gold medals for their achievement in the Manipur University MBBS Phase 1 & MBBS Phase 2 examinations held in November 2023 & February 2024 respectively, it mentioned.
The awards were categorized into Institutional & Donated Awards, it said, adding that 10 Gold Medals were awarded to the students who secured top Position. While, students who secured Honours/Highest marks in the subjects were also awarded prizes, it stated.
