Lainingthou Sanamahi Temple Board (LSTB) has announced that this year’s ‘Mera Chaorel Houba’ will be held only by observing the necessary religious rituals.

LSTB in a release on Thursday said that the Mera Chaorel Houba, the religious festival, celebrated by the Meitei people and the indigenous tribal communities of the hills will be toned down due to the ongoing violence in the state.
