Association of Manipur Diaspora (AMAND), Pune on Saturday released its Meitei calendar for the year 2022, during a function held at the residence of president of AMAND Naorem Giridhar Singh in Pune.

The function was attended by executives and other invitees of AMAND via Google Meet online video conference, stated a release. Naorem Giridhar Singh welcomed astrologer Ibopishak Singh who compiled the ‘Meetei Thapalon’ calendar as the chief guest; and Ksh Deven Singh and Konsam Premeshor Singh who designed the calendar, it stated. The chief guest released the calendar digitally from Imphal while the president and seniors of AMAND along with the designers released the physical copy from Pune, it added.
