Meeyamgi Numit, Hill Leader’s Day 2022 to be held across Manipur

Bishnupur district and Thoubal District will organise Meeyamgi Numit, Hill Leader’s Day 2022 on December 16, while Jiribam district, Noney district, Kangpokpi district, Kakching district and Jiribam district will organise on December 15.

The Meeyamgi Numit and the Hill Leader’s Day 2022 will be widely organised at several district headquarters in Manipur.

Several district magistrates informed the general public to attend the programme and apprise problems faced by them. They also notified district level officers to attend the programme without fail, to address the grievances of the people on the spot.

Bishnupur district and Thoubal District will organise the day on December 16, while Jiribam district, Noney District, Kangpokpi District, Kakching District and Jiribam District will organise on December 15.

It also appealed to all the departments to deliver whatever possible services to the public during the programme.

It may be recalled that “Meeyamgi Numit” and “Hill Leader’s Day” were launched under the initiative of chief minister N. Biren Singh in 2017 for the general public and to support the deprived people of the state.
