Meetei Erol Eyek Loinasillon Apunba Lup (Meelal) Kangleipak has warned flex printing shops if they fail to include two-third of Meetei Mayek in every flex they print.
In a release, Meelal appealed to those concerned to cooperate in uplifting the language by adding in every banner and backdrop for shops and functions.
Members of Meelal found various shops which failed to do the needful and some understood the idea during a mass inspection carried out by Meelal, said the press release.
It may be mentioned that meetings were held twice with Meelal and Flex printing shop owners in the first week of February where it was agreed to write two-third of Meetei Mayek language in every banner and flex.
The release also informed that a meeting for Meetei Mayek TET passed candidates 2016 will be held on March 19 at 11:00 am at Meelal main office and appealed to the candidates to attend the meeting without fail.
Enrolment forms for Meelal members will be available at the earliest and arrangements have been made for a Meetei Mayek language competition to be held on May 18, the day the language was made official.
