MCPCR urges Home department to ensure safe travel of students appearing board examinations

The MCPCR requested reduction in traffic jam to ensure safe and convenient travel for students and other commuters during examination time.

The Manipur Commission for Protection of Child Rights (MCPCR) has sought the attention of the state Home department to ensure the safety and security of students who will be appearing the Class-10 and Class-12 board examinations.

“In view of the upcoming examinations for Class-10 and 12 by COHSEM and BOSEM, the government of Manipur to be conducted in the state and looking for the safety and security of the children/students in appearing their examinations, the state commission is requesting the Home department to ensure safety and security of students while going for appearing their examination and returning from their examination,” the MCPCR stated in a release.

The MCPCR also requested for arrangement to reduce traffic jam to ensure safe and convenient travel for students and other commuters during examination time.
