The Manipur Commission for Protection of Child Rights (MCPCR) has declared Jinatree Thounaojam as its brand ambassador in a programme called ‘Eikhoi Lairiksu Tamsi, Laisusu Khangsi” which means “Let’s Acquire Knowledge as well as Wisdom”.
Jinatree Thounaojam is a student of Mega Manipur School, Yaralpat Imphal East.
The programme was held at the Mega Manipur School on Wednesday.
While declaring the brand ambassador’s name, MCPCR chairperson Keisam Pradipkumar stated that the reason for nominating a girl child who has been active in child rights advocacy is to promote the right to participation of the children through which children could directly engage the concerned stakeholders and articulate their worries to all the stakeholders and media.
