The Manipur Youth League’s (MAYOL) long march for national regeneration reached Mayang Imphal, marking the 15th day of the entire march on Wednesday.
The Day 15 of the long march was kicked off from Bashikhong Panthoibi Youth club and headed for Wangoi for the first public meeting of the day.
On the way, the march passed through Kiyamgei Mamang Leikai, Lilong Chajing, Lilong Haoreibi and Samurou.
The morning public meeting of the march took place at Wangoi Community Hall in which Hueiyen Lanpao daily editor Maibam Dhanabir, AMKIL president Ima Nganbi and advisor of Wangoi Apunba Meira Paibi Lup W Dhaneswari took part as resource persons.
After the meeting the evening leg of the march kicked off from Wangoi Higher Secondary School and continued towards Mayang Imphal.
At Mayang Imphal, the evening public meeting was convened at Khuman Mini Stadium, Mayang Imphal.
Principal of Lilong Higher Secondary School Shanta, MAYOL convenor Asem Prince and LIPUL president Th Somorendro took part as the main speakers of the programme.
Day 16 of the march will start from Mayang Imphal and conclude at Changangei.
