It was organised by Rainforest Club Tamenglong in collaboration with district administration, Youth department of Rongmei Baptist Churches Council Tamenglong zone, Forest department Tamenglong and DoECC.

As part of the programme, plastic bottle Bank was launched by Tamenglong deputy commissioner Dr Angshim Dangshawa in the presence of forest officials, ADC Tamenglong and volunteers of youths from different churches.

Rainforest Club Tamenglong has selected 10 locations to place the plastic bottles bank at vulnerable sites.

The deputy commissioner urged every citizen of Tamenglong to make use of the plastic bottles Bank to make sure to keep the town clean and neat.

To make sure every corner of Tamenglong district headquarters is kept clean and create awareness, Rainforest Club Tamenglong are also keeping the banks at different churches at different locations including district hospital Duigailong Tamenglong.
