The district has been witnessing rains since the last two weeks. Following the hailstorm, there was power outage in the district headquarters. 

Meanwhile, informing that there will be no power supply in the district on Saturday night, the electricity department said that the 33kv HT line from Reangpang to Tamenglong has tripped with OC /EF. The electricity department informed that it will check the line on Sunday.
