The Social Welfare and Cultural Development Organisation (SWACDO) in collaboration with Kanglei Nat Cultural Organisation (KNCO) is organising a 15-day training on Maibi Laiching Jagoi (Manipuri Folk Dance) at the stadium of Charangpat Mayai Leikai in Thoubal district.

A release by S Gaganchandra Singh, president of SWACDO stated that the training is being held on every Friday and Saturday starting July 7, 2023.

With 32 students enrolled, the folk dance is being taught by Yumlembam Bidyananda Singh, assistant professor of Manipur International University, the release stated.
