The Manipur CPI (M) met in Thursday and appealed to all sections of the Manipuri society to keep peace and tranquility in the state.

The  Manipur CPI-M Secretariat appealed to the Government of India and Manipur to work for the communal harmony and to contain violence which claimed tens of innocent people. 

The Secretariat expressed that the Manipur government led by BJP's N Biren Singh should convene an all-party meeting on the continuing violence.
