Writers of Manipur on Saturday said that the association in collaboration with women vendors of Leimarel Shidabi Ema Keithel, Emoinu Ema Keithel, Fouoibi ema Keithel and Panthoibi ema Keithel (temporary market) of Khwairamband Keithel will cease work for a day and organise a prayer ceremony on Monday.

The service will be held to pray for those on the frontline, guarding the villages against attacks, stated a release.

The ceremony will be held at Salairen Sidabi Epagi shrine at Khwairamband Keithel from 7 till 11 am, it said. It also urged the public to take part in the ceremony and offer their prayers.
