Unknown miscreants fired gunshots at the residence of one Moirangthem Bijen, 38, son of Inaoton from Tentha Tuwaband under the jurisdiction of Khongjom Police station, Thoubal District on Thursday night around 10.

Reasons remain unknown of the firing incident, as per sources. Investigations are underway after police registered a case regarding the incident.
Condemning the incident, Tentha Apunba Meira Paibi and Young organisers of Tentha staged a sit-in protest at Tentha Tuwaband on Saturday.
