The curfew relaxation in both Imphal East and Imphal West districts have been withdrawn with immediate effect until further orders, official sources said. 

Imphal East district magistrate Khumanthem Diana Devi on Thursday stated that the curfew relaxation from 5 am to 8 pm on August 3, has been cancelled with immediate effect.

However, all persons belonging to essential services such as the Health, PHED, Municipal Officials/ Staffs, Power (MSPDCL/MSPCL), media personnel and functioning of courts shall be exempted from further imposition of curfew after the expiry of the said period of relaxation, the magistrate stated.
