The Manipur government on Monday issued transportation arrangements for government employees/general public/devotees for Khongjom day celebration at Khongjom War Memorial Complex, Kheba Ching which is to be held on Tuesday.
Director (Transport), Manipur, Nivedita Lairenlakpam, in notice, informed that Manipur State Transport (MST), Government of Manipur, is deploying 13 MST buses to facilitate their transportation from Imphal to Kheba Ching, Khongjom.
The statement further notified the routes, number of buses and departure time.
It said that two MST buses will be deployed at 6.30 am sharp and operate from Public School Koirengei to Chingmeirong, Thangmeiband road, Nagamapal, Wahengbam Leikai, Keishampat, Pishum thong, Singjamei, Lilong, Thoubal to Khongjom.
It also stated that 1 MST bus will be deployed from 6.30 am sharp towards DC office, Porompat, Soibam Leikai, Andro Parking, Wangkhei, Kongba, Singjamei thong, Lilong and Thoubal to Khongjom. It further mentioned that two buses will depart from 6.30 am sharp and ply on Lamboikhongnangkhong ground, Tera, Sagolband, Kwakeithel, Pishumthong, Heirangoithong, Hiyangthang, Samurou, Wangoi, Mayang Imphal, Wabagai, Kakching to Khongjom.
It added that five MST buses will be deployed from MST Complex, Moirangkhom to Khongjom via Singjamei route ,while another five MST buses will be stationed at the Eastern side of 1st MR ground, Babupara. The said buses will depart at 6 to 6.30 am, 7 to 7.30 am and 8 am respectively, it stated.
It informed all interested public/devotees/government employees to avail the said transportation service duly arranged by the government between 6.30 am and 8 am at Khongjom War Memorial Complex, Kheba Ching for a grand success of Khongjom day celebration.
