The Manipur State AIDS Control Society, Imphal on Monday announced that the ‘World Blood Donor Day’ will be observed at GP Women’s College, Imphal under the slogan ‘20 years of celebrating giving: Thank you blood donors’ on June 14.

The programme will be jointly organised by the State Blood Transfusion Council of Manipur in association with the State Blood Cell of the State Health Society, NHM Manipur, stated a release.
It notified all males who have generously donated blood over 30 times and females who donated blood over 15 times to submit their pertinent documentation to RIMS or JNIMS Blood Centre by June 7.

Top five male and female donors will be honored during the observance, it added.
