Chakhum gi Meiri, which is a collaborative initiative by members of Chakhum and Manipur Times, sought to ensure that the flame of Chakhum (kitchen) burns bright in relief camps, offering cleanliness and economic efficiency.

The distribution was specified to meet the unique requirements of each relief camp, taking into account the number of inmates.

Some camps received three gas stoves and cylinders each, while others received in accordance with their specific needs, were provided with one set.

This thoughtful approach ensures that the resources are allocated based on the actual requirements, catering to the diverse circumstances of the affected communities, as per the Chakhum gi Meira.
