Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh on Saturday said the sportspersons of the state have made the nation proud and brought recognition to the potentials of Manipur and they deserve the highest honour and respect from all sections.

Taking to Twitter, the chief minister wrote, "Attended the observance of Sanaroishingee Numit, 2023 at Indoor Hall in Khuman Lampak Sports Complex today. The sports players of our small state have made the nation proud and brought recognition to the potentials of Manipur. They deserve the highest honour and respect from all sections."

Attending the observance of Sanaroishingee Numit, 2023 at Indoor Hall in Khuman Lampak Sports Complex in Imphal, the chief minister said he was delighted to honour the state players.

"With National Champion, State Women’s Football Team, Manipur's immense energy & love for sports can be seen in every corner of the State and we will continue to support and encourage them," CM Biren said in another tweet.
