He appealed to the leaders of two Shiv Sena leaders, Eknath Shinde and Uddhav Thakre, to unite and work with cooperation. Shiv Sena has been continuing its political alliance with the RSS at national level for the last 27 years, he said and urged the national party leaders to take necessary steps for the welfare of the party.

Tombi further said during the meeting on Tuesday, the agenda for the upcoming three tier election to be held in Manipur will also be discussed. He appealed to the concerned authorities to do the filter work of voters sincerely by going at ground level instead of doing work on the table.

In the upcoming three tier elections, if the Shiv Sena opens its account, then the party will start giving priority to root out corruption with zero tolerance, he said.
