The SO of PHED appealed to the people not to practice the illegal tapping of water, telling that it was not an easy task for them as they had to seal off the water supply line where the illegal tapping was detected. The practice deprives the consumers of drinking water as most tapping is done at the main supply line which needs to be stopped or sealed off to repair the damage, he said.

The drive is being conducted in continuous effort to provide adequate drinking water to the people of Churachandpur town from Khuga dam water reservoir.
