One woman succumbed to her injuries following a road mishap along Imphal-Moreh Road at Lilong Higher Secondary school, under the jurisdiction of Lilong police station on Tuesday at around 2:30 pm.
The deceased has been identified as Irom Dhaneshori, 38, daughter of Mera of Thoubal Leishangthem Leikai.
As per police reports, an Ultra Bus bearing registration number MN03T- 1486 which was on its way to Thoubal from Imphal hit a Honda activa 6G without a registration number on its back.
Reports added that the woman who drove the honda activa sustained serious injuries in the mishap and was rushed to Noor Hospital Lilong but succumbed to her injuries.
The body has been kept at JNIMS mortuary for post mortem by the police and a case has been taken up.
