A team of CDO-IW arrested one active member of KCP (Lamyanba Khuman) Organisation from Lamphel Super Market at 2.40 pm on Tuesday.
The arrested person is identified as Thokchom Iboyaima Singh, 42, alias Boyai son of (L) Th Iboton Singh of Kyamgei Awang Leikai, Imphal East. Three mobile handsets, one wallet blue in colour containing a sum of Rs 8,200 and one Aadhaar card and one Maruti Alto Car silver in colour bearing Regn. No. MN01K 3388 were also seized from him.
During preliminary verification, he disclosed that he joined the said organisation through one Mayanglambam Dhanabir Singh of Kyamgei Awang Leikai of KCP (Lamyanba Khuman) Organisation in September, 2023 and presently working for the said organisation under the command of the above mentioned self styled commander Mayanglambam Dhanabir Singh and he along with his commander made monetary demands to several businessmen and general public etc. located in and around Imphal area.
The arrested person along with the seized item has been handed over to OC-Lamphel Police Station for taking further necessary legal action against him.
