An old bomb was found during excavation work carried out by a JCB at Laimanai foothill under Waikhong Police Station in Kakching district around 1.30 pm on Saturday.

The bomb has been handed over to the Waikhong Police Station. It will be disposed of by a team of Bomb Disposal Squad on Sunday.
