Speaking to the media at the Manipur Press Club on Wednesday, VVF convenor Nongthongbam Bobby said that on May 3 Kukis burnt Meitei houses and properties in Churachandpur, Kangpokpi, Moreh and even at Saikul area, Dolaithabi, Ekou villages Meitei people were running for their live.

However, MLA of Khundrakpam Lokeshor said that the Meitei started the conflict against Kuki, he alleged.

The MLA should clarify to the public and until then, the VVF will boycott his works at the constituency. Anyone who participate in MLA works will face circumstances, he added.
