Unknown armed miscreants kidnapped a person at gunpoint from Yairipok Tulihal Azad Golai under the jurisdiction of Adro Police station, Imphal East District on Sunday at around 5 pm.

As per sources, the kidnapped person is Md Shayeed Ahmed, 46, son of Abdullah of Yairipok Tulihal Awang leikai.

Azad owns a shop which sells tyres and vehicle parts and the reason behind the kidnapping is unknown.
