One Nathan Panmei, 24, who is an alleged drug abuser, son of Poukhon Panmei of Namching/Maha Kabui village was found dead around 6 am in Longa Koireng village near highway on Tuesday.

As per sources, the deceased was seen on Monday along with one Heman Riamei who is also a drug abuser from Namching.
The cause of the death remains unknown but drug overdose is suspected.

A UD case has been registered and the process to conduct the post mortem examination is underway.
