An unidentified man was found dead near the Oil Pump of Sekmai Pangaltabi under Sekmai police station in Imphal West around 12.30 pm on Monday.

Sources stated that the person was found wearing a coffee-coloured shorts and a black jacket. It is suspected that the person must have died from a drug overdose.

The Sekmai police have kept the body at the RIMS mortuary, it added.
