A labour hailing from Heirok who went to Bongli village in Tengnoupal District for logging went missing without a trace.

A labour hailing from Heirok who went to Bongli village in Tengnoupal District for logging went missing without a trace.

As per the missing report submitted to Machi police by the family members, the missing person is 51-year-old Moirangthem Sanayaima, son of late Angojao from Heirok part(ii) Devi Mandop Leikai, Thoubal district.

Sanayaima reportedly went missing between the area of Gumi village and Konjang village in Tengnoupal district on April 6 at around 11 am.

Sanayaima used to work as a labourer under one 48-year-old Hijam Ingobi son of Achouba from Sanayaima’s locality. They both left for their workplace from Heirok on April 2 in Ingobi’s Truck (Shaktiman).

Family members said that they were informed about his missing news by Ingobi on April 6 at around 11 pm. Sanayaima was with Ingobi till 10 am on the day he went missing and Ingobi is still in Bongli village searching for him, the report added.

Machi Police has taken up a G/D case and is on the hunt for the missing person
