Office of the election officer, Imphal East notified that the casting of vote by postal ballot at the facilitation centres set up at the Office of all the Assistant Returning Officers of Imphal East shall be done from the April 15, 2024 to April 17, 2024 in view of the ensuing General Elections to the 18th Lok Sabha, 2024.

District Election Officer, Imphal East, Khumanthem Diana Devi, in an order on Sunday, informed that all the Asst. Returning Officers shall bring the postal ballot from their facilitation centres at the end of each day for storing at the Strong Room being set up at the Room No.13, 15 Floor, SIRD Hostel Block, DC Office Complex, Porompat.

Yendrembam Sher Singh, (7005200412) Assistant Commissioner to DC, Imphal East has been detailed as Officer-in-Charge for supervision and coordination during the deposition of postal ballot, it stated.
