Manipur BJP strongly condemns the heinous crime carried out against the two women that went viral on social media and will mount pressure on the the government to book all the culprits to give severe punishment, state BJP president A Sharda Devi said.
Sharda told media at its party head office located at Nityaipat Chuthek on Thursday that a viral video was encountered showing sexual harassment towards two women.
Reacting on the viral video, she said that was an unfortunate incident that was occurred against women and the party strongly condemned such heinous crime against women.
She added that the case was registered last month but the video went viral in the last few days.
Sharda said the party will mount pressure on the government to give severe punishment, even capital punishment to the culprits involved during the incident.
