Armed miscreants fired gunshots at Mahalaxmi medical store, located at the backside of the old assembly road water supply in Thangal bazar on Tuesday at around 5.30 pm.

As per eye witnesses, two masked armed miscreants who came on a bike fired gunshots at the medical store and fled the scene. One bullet hit the shutter of the shop and another hit the mirror of the shop counter.

Imphal west SP came to the scene and investigated the incident. City police station also registered a case of the incident. The pharmacy is owned by one Rosan Prashad, 28, son of  Raghumani Prashad of Telipati, Imphal East.
