While interacting with the people in the camp, the Governor said, Central and State governments have been trying to settle the issue with all possible means. As a temporary arrangement, prefabricated houses are being built in different locations for settling the displaced people and until and unless the situation permits, the displaced people will be in the houses, she added.

The governor also asked the district administration for providing television sets, clothes, baby food and consumables for women and children and asked to start yoga sessions for the people. She also directed the district administration for providing every single need of schoolgoing children in the camp, the Raj Bhavan said.

After interacting with the people in the camp, she told media persons that some facilities which are being provided to the people are good while some other facilities like medicines, sanitation and cooling facilities need to be augmented.
