The Manipur government on Tuesday announced the transfer and posting of several IAS and MCS officers with immediate effect until further orders.
As per the order issued by the governor on Tuesday, IAS Armstrong Pame has been transferred to special secretary of planning/RD and PR, and SMD/MSRLM; IAS Kengoo Zuringla to deputy commissioner, Kangpokpi; IAS Somorjit Salam to deputy commissioner, Kakching; IAS L Bikram to deputy commissioner, Bishnupur; IAS Ranjan Yumnam to deputy commissioner, Tengnoupal; and IAS D Gangmei to joint secretary of RD and PR.
Governor’s order includes transfer of MCS officers including MCS Shamim Ahmad Shah to additional deputy commissioner, Imphal East; MCS Joel G Haokip to deputy secretary of TCI; MCS Shiekh Abdul Hakim to deputy secretary of agriculture/SCERT; MCS Ksh Umananda Singh to CEO/Thoubal ZP and i/c BDO/Wangjing Tentha.
MCS Neena Sarangthem to deputy secretary of PHED/SLEE and i/c additional director of employment; MCS HI Jain to ADC of Senapati and CEO of autonomous district council, Senapati, and PD/DRDA, Senapati; MCS KG Daigong to director of R and DM; MCS Lanjoy Thoudam to deputy secretary of RD and PR/IPR/TAH and i/c deputy director of tourism; MCS M Pourallung Kabui to AC to DC, Thoubal; and MCS Yendrembam Sher Singh to AC to DC, Ukhrul.
The order stated that the officers should join the respective assigned posting within 24 hours.
