The Manipur government on Friday issued an order for the transfer and posting of inspectors of the Manipur Police department with immediate effect in the interest of the public.
An order issued by director general of Police, Imphal stated that inspector N Ingocha Singh presently posted as OC, Churachandpur police station has been posted as OC, Imphal police station; OC Imphal police station inspector Ng Johnson Singh as RI, Imphal West; RI Imphal West inspector Md Zahir Shah as CAR, Imphal East.
As per the order, OC, Kangpokpi police station (u/o of transfer as OC, Ukhrul police station) inspector Khangembam Sunilkumar Singh has been posted as OC, Sekmai police station; OC, Sekmai police station inspector Maibam Khogen Singh as OC, city police (detached from CDO, Imphal West); OC, city police station inspector Thounaojam Kiran Kumar Singh as OC, Loktak police station; OC, Loktak police station N Thangzumuan as OC, Churachandpur police station; and OC, CDO Thoubal inspector N Sadananda Singh as OC, CDO Jiribam.
Inspector Konsam Nitaranjan Singh, presently posted in Imphal East has been posted as OC, CDO Thoubal; CAR, Thoubal Md Riyajuddin Shah as OC, Andro police station; OC, Andro police station Md Riaj Khan as CAR, Thoubal; and CAR, Imphal West (attached with SDRF) inspector Waikhom Angouyaima Singh as OC Traffic Control Police (TCP), Imphal West (detached from SDRF), it added.
It stated that inspector S Basanta Singh and inspector S Ibomcha Singh, presently posted in Vigilance and Anti-Corruption department has been posted as OC, Wangoi police station and OC, NAB respectively, while OC, Wangoi police station inspector Sanasam Nabajiban Ningthouja and OC, NAB inspector K Bobby Singh have been posted at Vigilance and Anti-Corruption department.
The order further stated that CAR, Senapati inspector Jonah Raphuba Chawang has been posted as OC, Mao police station; OC, Mao police station inspector Worchipem Ngalung as OC, Litan police station; OC, Litan police station inspector LL Tezii as OC, Senapati police station; and CAR, Tamenglong inspector Lairikyengbam Bikram Singh as CAR, Imphal West.
