The Manipur government on Thursday notified that the existing 24x7 toll free helpline number for children "1098" and existing 24x7 toll free helpline number for Women "181" were temporarily down due to some technical problems. 

According to the Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), the public can contact Child Helpline on alternate mobile numbers — 7005120197 or "8132953592" and Women Helpline on alternate mobile number — "7005776144" for the time being to avail uninterrupted services.
