The team inspected the site, after which it was reported that one house and a Hut type structure were damaged. Fortunately, nearby structures remain unaffected, leading investigators to rule out a targeted attack on the entire village by armed miscreants.

The fire, which was first noticed by vigilant Molphoi villagers, prompted immediate action, it said. Residents from both Kwatha Khullen and Molphoi worked together to control the blaze, attributing the incident to a possible wildfire, given the current season.

Statements from the secretary of Kwatha village and the village chief of Molphoi were obtained to gather more insights into the incident. While the exact cause is yet to be determined, early indications suggest a natural calamity rather than a deliberate act of violence, the report added.

In response to the situation, heavy security deployment is underway to ensure the safety and well-being of the affected community. Authorities are working diligently to assess the extent of the damage and provide necessary assistance to those affected by this unfortunate incident.
