Manipur: Expenditure observer meets EEM teams

Expenditure observer for II Outer Manipur (ST) Parliamentary Constituency Bhartendu Kumar Singh, IDAS chaired a meeting on Tuesday at DC Conference Hall, Senapati in view of the forthcoming General Elections to Lok Sabha 2024.

The meeting was held with Election Expenditure Monitoring Teams, Senapati  comprising of  Assistant Expenditure Observers, Team Leader Civil and Police of  FST, SST, VST, VVT, Accounting Teams, Media Certification and Monitoring Committee and Complaint Monitoring Control Room and Call Centre.

He will be monitoring election expenditure related matter for the second phase of 18th Lok Sabha for II- Outer Manipur (ST) PC, including three assemblies segment namely 47- Karong AC (ST), 48- Mao AC (ST) and 49- Tadubi (ST) AC of Senapati district.

In the meeting, he informed the team members to carry on with the daily report on time. He said inspection relating to election activity will be thoroughly monitored as per the schedule. He appealed to the gathering to settle down the matter amicably with the political parties in case any problem arises. He also applauded and extended his satisfaction over the AEO’s and their respective teams for taking up the task dutifully.

Another Expenditure Observers for II- Outer Manipur PC Gaurav K Singh also supplemented that election expenditure monitoring teams are to properly track the expenses and remain vigilant. In case of any doubt the AEO’s should put forward the matter for clarification.

The meeting was attended by District Election/DC, Senapati Mamoni Doley, ARO 48- Mao AC(ST) Ningreingam Leisan, SDO Songsong,  PD DRDA Nodal Officer PP Ronald, for Complaints and Voter Helpline, Lamgin Singsit, TO, Senapati Nodal Officer for Expenditure Monitoring, AEO’s and various Expenditure Monitoring team officials.
