Manipur Transport secretariat on Tuesday notified that ‘Manipur Drone Policy, 2023’ will be put into effect from the date of publication of the state's Extraordinary Gazette.
A notification issued by state transport secretary Michael Achom stated that in pursuance of the cabinet decision under agenda No 51 dated February 14, the ‘Manipur Drone Policy, 2023’ which has received the consent of the State Cabinet shall come into force with effect from the date of publication of the policy in the Extraordinary Gazette.
This policy shall come into force with effect from the date of its notification and shall remain valid for a period of five years or till the declaration of a new or revised policy, it informed.
The policy notified shall be applicable within the state and the notification is issued with the approval of the competent authority, it added.
