The Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) on Thursday thronged the Raj Bhavan and staged a protest rally against repeated summoning of Congress leaders, Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the National Herald case.

Addressing media at the side of the protest, MPCC president Keisham Meghachandra said that summoning of Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi repeatedly by Enforcement Directorate (ED) without any genuine reason is very unfortunate. The Congress target feels that it is an act of using ED as a tool for political gains, he alleged.
